History of the Establishment of UHW Perbanas Surabaya

UHW Perbanas Surabaya has undergone several name changes since its inception. Initially, UHW Perbanas Surabaya held Bank Cadre Courses Level A and B. This Bank Cadre Course Level B was the forerunner to the formation of the PERBANAS Surabaya Banking Science Academy in 1970.

Then in 1982, the name was changed back to the Academy of Banking and Management Sciences PERBANAS Surabaya due to the opening of the management study program. After that, the name was changed again in 1985 to the PERBANAS Surabaya College of Economics which consists of 2 Departments at UHW Perbanas Surabaya, namely Management and Accounting.

Based on the Decree of the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemdikbud) of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 126/E/O/2021 dated April 9, 2021 concerning the Permit for Change of Form, STIE PERBANAS Surabaya changed its name for the last time to Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas Surabaya (UHW Perbanas).

Study Programs and Campus Facilities

The departments at UHW Perbanas Surabaya database shop  which originally only consisted of 2 departments, now have 9 study programs divided into 2 Faculties, namely the Faculty of Economics & Business and the Faculty of Engineering & Design.

The Faculty of Economics houses 6 study programs, including: S1 Accounting, S1 Management, S1 Sharia Economics, D3 Accounting, D3 Banking, D3 Finance, and Master of Management (S2). Then the Faculty of Engineering and Design which houses 3 study programs including: S1 Information Systems, S1 Informatics, and S1 Visual Communication Design.

Teaching and learning activities are supported by facilities and infrastructure such as buildings, classrooms, informatics laboratories, information systems laboratories, design laboratories, computer laboratories, language laboratories and libraries.

Availability of Scholarship Programs and Employee Classes

UHW Perbanas Surabaya Scholarship provides two offers, namely full scholarship and KIP-Kuliah scholarship. Here are the benefits of full scholarship and KIP-Kuliah:

Full Scholarship

2. Participants who pass the interview session can be accepted through the Test-Free Path with a USP subsidy of 30% and free registration fees.
3. Participants who have reached the Psychometric Test session but failed, can be accepted through the Free Test Route with a 50% USP subsidy and free registration fee.
4. If you get the UHW Perbanas Surabaya Scholarship, you must sign a statement letter and pay an administration fee of Rp. 2,000,000.00 and it will be returned upon graduation or will be compensated as graduation fees.

KIP-College Scholarship

1. KIP-Kuliah Scholarship recipients can take part in education with a Scholarship at UHW Perbanas Surabaya without being charged tuition fees during the normal study period for each study program.
2. KIP-Kuliah Scholarship recipients  aleartnews receive living expenses from the government.
3. Participants who do not pass the selection can be accepted through the Test-Free Path with a 50% USP subsidy and free registration fees.
4. Upon acceptance, KIP-Kuliah Scholarship recipients are willing to sign a statement letter and are exempted from registration administration fees.
